Charlotte is 4 months old!

I will tell you what. I have GOT to figure out how to slow down time. I thought time went fast before I had sweet baby Charlie, but now it FLIES. It blows my mind that she has been alive for 4 months...almost as much as it blows my mind that I have kept another human being alive for 4 months. Here's to hoping I can keep that up!

So yes, Charlotte has been out of my body for 4 months now. And what a fun 4 months it has been!! I obviously didn't know what to expect when it came to motherhood but so far it's been pretty crazy! My favorite part of every day is when Charlotte wakes up and I go get her out of her bassinet and she just has the BIGGEST smile on her face. It makes me feel like a rock star pretty much. I think the hardest part has been balancing work and home. I have continued to work part-time and all I have to say is I don't know how the heck full-time moms do it. Like...when do you SLEEP?! Ugh. Rough stuff right there.

Alright, enough about that and back to business. Let me tell you a little bit about what life with Charlotte is like right now.

-Charlotte has learned how to roll over! She has always hated tummy time so I think she is pretty happy that she has learned how to get out of it.
-She is smiling constantly. In fact, sometimes when she is crying (which is rare) if I smile at her or do something funny she will smile in between cries. It's hilarious.
-She is very in tune with emotions. If we are crying, or even pretending to cry, her bottom lip will start to quiver. It doesn't happen every time...but it's pretty cute when it does.
-She pretty much sleeps through the night now which is awesome. She also sleeps really well in her car seat. I can't read that article about the baby dying in his car seat at daycare anymore because it makes me so paranoid.
-She is so so so wiggly now. She has learned how to use her legs and never wants to stop. She is going to crawl soon I swear to you.
-She has a really funny shaped head and I am hoping she doesn't need a helmet because of it. Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
-Drool...everywhere.

I tried taking her 4 month pictures and I have never had a harder time getting a person to hold still. So I made a collage of all of my attempts. I was like...are you kidding me child? Just ONE PICTURE!

Anyway, that is all for now. Sorry that this was super boring.
